Terms of service

Welcome to SAI Bridal House.

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the SAI Bridal House website and your purchase of products and services from us.

By accessing our website, placing an order, booking a fitting or consultation, or otherwise using our services, you agree to these Terms.

In these Terms, “SAI Bridal House”, “SAI”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to SAI Bridal House.

1. Our Products and Services

SAI Bridal House offers bridal shoes, including standard styles and customised bridal shoe options.

Our standard styles may be made to order, meaning that production begins after an order has been placed.

Customised bridal shoes are available through consultation and may include changes to features such as heel height, colour, materials, embellishments or other design details.

Product availability, customisation options and production timeframes may vary between styles.

2. Made-to-Order Products

Unless otherwise stated on the relevant product page, SAI Bridal House shoes are made to order.

Production generally takes approximately 5–7 weeks before dispatch.

Production time is separate from shipping and delivery time.

Please consider both production and delivery time when ordering shoes for your wedding or event. We recommend placing your order well in advance of your required date.

Production timeframes are estimates. If we become aware of a significant delay affecting your order, we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible with an updated timeframe and any options available to you.

Nothing in this section limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

3. Standard Orders

Standard styles are products purchased without individual design customisations.

When purchasing a standard style through our website, you are responsible for reviewing the product information, selected size and other available options before completing your order.

If you are unsure about sizing or fit, you are welcome to contact SAI Bridal House before ordering or arrange an in-person fitting where available.

Eligible standard styles may be returned or exchanged in accordance with our Return & Refund Policy, including our voluntary 30-day return policy for eligible change-of-mind returns and size exchanges.

4. Customised Orders

Customised bridal shoes are available by consultation.

During your consultation, we may discuss and record specifications including:

  • Shoe size
  • Heel height
  • Colour
  • Materials
  • Embellishments
  • Design details
  • Other agreed customisation requests

Before production begins, you will be given an opportunity to review and confirm the specifications of your customised order.

Production will proceed based on the specifications agreed with and approved by you.

Once your customised specifications have been approved and production has commenced, changes, cancellations, returns or exchanges for change of mind or a change in personal preference may not be available.

This does not exclude or limit your rights if the product is faulty, does not match the approved specifications, or otherwise fails to meet a consumer guarantee under the Australian Consumer Law. Consumer guarantees apply automatically and cannot be removed by store terms or policies.

5. Orders and Order Acceptance

When placing an order, you agree to provide information that is accurate and complete.

After your order is submitted, you may receive an order confirmation by email.

We may contact you if additional information is reasonably required to process or fulfil your order.

In limited circumstances, we may need to decline or cancel an order before production, including where:

  • A product or requested customisation is unavailable
  • There is an obvious pricing or listing error
  • We are unable to reasonably fulfil the order
  • We reasonably suspect fraudulent or unauthorised activity

If we cancel an order after payment has been received and you are entitled to a refund, the relevant amount will be refunded to your original payment method.

Nothing in this section limits any rights you may have under applicable consumer law.

6. Pricing and Payment

Unless otherwise stated, prices displayed on our Australian website are in Australian dollars (AUD).

Applicable shipping charges, taxes or other charges will be displayed before you complete your purchase where required.

Payment must be made using one of the payment methods available at checkout.

For customised orders, payment may be requested through a secure invoice or checkout link after your consultation and approval of your specifications.

We take reasonable care to ensure that prices displayed on our website are accurate. If we identify a genuine pricing or listing error affecting an order, we will contact you before proceeding.

7. Fittings and Consultations

SAI Bridal House offers in-person fittings and consultations in Sydney by appointment and subject to availability.

We do not currently operate from a permanent physical retail store. Fitting locations may vary, so please contact us in advance to confirm our current availability and fitting location.

Not every style, colour or size displayed online will necessarily be available to try at every fitting.

A fitting is intended to help you explore available styles, sizing, heel heights and other options before ordering.

8. Shipping and Delivery

Production time and shipping time are separate.

Once your order has completed production and is ready for dispatch, shipping time will depend on your delivery destination and the shipping method selected.

Any estimated shipping timeframe displayed at checkout refers to the transit period after dispatch, unless expressly stated otherwise.

Please refer to our Shipping Policy for further information about production, dispatch, shipping charges, tracking and delivery.

If we become aware of a significant delay affecting your order, we will communicate with you as soon as reasonably possible.

The usual Australian consumer rights also apply to products purchased online.

9. Returns, Exchanges and Refunds

Returns, size exchanges and refunds are governed by our Return & Refund Policy.

SAI Bridal House offers eligible customers a voluntary 30-day return period from delivery for standard, non-customised styles, subject to the conditions set out in that policy.

Different change-of-mind conditions apply to customised products once production has commenced.

Our voluntary return policy operates in addition to, and does not replace, your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. A store return policy cannot override consumer guarantee rights.

10. Australian Consumer Law

Our products and services come with consumer guarantees that cannot be excluded where the Australian Consumer Law applies.

Nothing in these Terms, our Return & Refund Policy, Shipping Policy or any other SAI Bridal House policy is intended to exclude, restrict or modify any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded.

If a product or service fails to meet a consumer guarantee, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, refund, cancellation or other remedy depending on the circumstances.

You may also have rights to compensation for reasonably foreseeable loss or damage caused by a failure to meet a consumer guarantee.

11. Product Information and Images

We take reasonable care to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, colours, specifications and other information displayed on our website are accurate.

Colours may appear slightly different depending on your device, screen settings and lighting.

Because some products are made to order and may include delicate materials, handmade elements or embellishments, minor variations may occur where they do not materially change the product ordered.

Nothing in this section limits your rights where a product is significantly different from its description, does not match agreed specifications or otherwise fails to meet a consumer guarantee.

12. Website Use

You agree not to use our website:

  • For any unlawful purpose
  • To interfere with the security or operation of the website
  • To attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or customer information
  • To submit fraudulent orders or information
  • To reproduce or commercially exploit protected website content without permission, except where permitted by law

We may take reasonable steps to protect our website, customers and business from fraudulent, malicious or unlawful activity.

13. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, the branding, photographs, text, graphics, logos, designs and other original content displayed on the SAI Bridal House website are owned by or licensed to SAI Bridal House and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may use our website for personal shopping and informational purposes.

You may not reproduce, commercially exploit, distribute or use our protected content without permission except where permitted by law.

14. Third-Party Services

Our website may use or link to third-party services, including Shopify, payment providers, shipping providers, booking platforms and social media services.

Your use of third-party services may also be subject to the terms and privacy policies of those providers.

SAI Bridal House is not responsible for third-party websites or services that we do not control, except to the extent that responsibility cannot lawfully be excluded.

15. Privacy

Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Our online store is powered by Shopify, which processes certain personal information in connection with providing ecommerce services.

Please review our Privacy Policy for more information about how personal information is collected, used and disclosed.

16. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability, consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

To the extent permitted by law, SAI Bridal House will not be responsible for losses that are not reasonably foreseeable or that arise from circumstances outside our reasonable control.

This section is subject at all times to the Australian Consumer Law and any other applicable mandatory consumer protections.

17. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to our business, website, products, services or legal requirements.

The updated Terms will be published on our website with a revised “Last updated” date.

Unless otherwise required by law or agreed with you, changes to these Terms will not retrospectively alter the terms governing an order placed before those changes took effect.

18. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, together with applicable Commonwealth laws of Australia.

Nothing in this section limits any mandatory consumer rights or protections that apply to you.
